CS Utility Suite

While corporate operations of Civil Solutions did not begin until the early part of 1996, our software programs have been used by engineers in northern California since 1990 (previously distributed directly by the founder).  In 1988, Thomas began to work on "a better drainage program". Along the way several 'splinter' programs were developed and released including NORMHYD™  and CS BACKWATER CALCULATOR™.  These applications were later combined with the CS VERTCURV™ program, a simplified vertical curve solver, to create the CS Utility Suite. Version 3.0 of this software upgraded it's printing and graphing capabilities and expanded the operation to the 32-bit desktop.

   CS VERTCURVE

CS VERTCURVE is an easy to use vertical curve analysis and design tool. The software was developed based in the vertical design and site distance equations published by the California Department of Transportation (CALTRANS).

CS Backwater Calculator is a simplified true flow profile analysis tool. The software will solve gradually varied flow profiles through as many as 100 profile station points, for channels of constant shape.
